School class hike “Fossils - Chalk - Cliff”
Embark on an exciting journey into the past and learn more about mysterious fossils as well as the magnificent chalk coast of the island of Rügen. What did it look like here 69 million years ago, what influence did the Ice Age have on the landscape, and what exactly are “chicken gods,” belemnites, and many more? We will find answers to these and other questions together on our cliff-top hike. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to explore the indoor adventure exhibition with an audioguide and learn more about the diverse habitats in Jasmund National Park.

- 1.5-hour guided hike on the topics of fossils, chalk, and cliff

- Independent visit of the indoor adventure exhibition with audioguide
- Multivision cinema with the UNESCO World Heritage film “The Voice of the Forest” by and with Dirk Steffens

- Individual exploration of the outdoor grounds with discovery stations and playground
